Harvey Nichols narrows losses in post-pandemic recovery

Harvey Nichols has seen reduced losses as the department store chain continues its slow recovery from the impact of the pandemic.
In its “first full year not impacted by Covid restrictions” sales were up 13%, reaching £216.7m in the year to 1 April 2023.
Despite footfall rising, cost increases alongside squeeze in margins saw it post a pre-tax loss of nearly £21.3m compared with £30.4m the year prior, the Grocer reports.
