Co-op to open record number of stores in one week

Co-op is opening a record number of stores in one week, with 11 shops set to open over the next seven days across the country. 
The move forms part of the retailer’s investment in more than 200 new and transformed stores over 2024/25, and among the 50 stores it has confirmed will open this November and December.
The new sites comprise a mix of new stores, franchise operated stores and, those that are re-opening following transformative investment.
