Aldi rolls out new stocking density labels for chickens

Aldi is rolling out new packaging for its fresh chicken products, reflecting updated stocking density guidelines as part of its ongoing commitment to animal welfare.
Shoppers will be provided with new labels on its packaging from 30 October, highlighting the higher welfare changes to the supermarket’s poultry range.
The change, which was first announced earlier this year, will see all of its fresh chickens have 20% more space than industry standards.
