When will Edinburgh have a South Suburban line?

The Herald - On September 10, 1962, a train carrying passengers on Edinburgh?s South Suburban Railway rolled into Waverley Station for the last time, bringing an end to 80 years of service. It was far from the last word on the loop connecting up Portobello, Morningside and Gorgie and other neighbourhoods with the city centre however, as a succession of petitions, newspaper articles and campaigns have fought to keep hopes of reviving it one day alive.
