Ross Martin: ‘The comparison between bus and rail is pretty meaningless’
Bus operators were advised to stop comparing the level of funding received by their industry to the railway, at last week’s CPT Conference in Ayrshire.
On the first day of the event, a number of speakers drew comparisons. Chris Martin of the TAS Partnership pointed out that bus services in Scotland received a subsidy of £0.27 per trip in 2016/17
