Major Highways Investment Set to Transform Cumberland's Transport Infrastructure

Safer Highways - Cumberland Council is investing ?27.5 million in roads, bridges, drainage and highway infrastructure during 2026/27, with one of its largest annual maintenance programmes designed to improve resilience, extend the life of critical assets and strengthen transport links across the county.
