Government considering cuts to RIS3 to pay for Defence Investment Plan

New Civil Engineer - The Department for Transport will consult on plans to reduce the third Road Investment Strategy (RIS3), including the possible cancellation of the A38 Derby Junctions and A46 Newark Bypass schemes to help pay for the ?15bn Defence Investment Plan (DIP), according to an explainer published today 30 June.
