Fare cap welcomed, but infrastructure spend urged

Bus and Coach.com - Industry organisations have welcomed the news that a new mp;pound;2 fare cap will be introduced on service buses from January 2027. Trade bodies, operators and Bus Users UK were pleased about new Prime Minister, Andy Burnhammp;#39;s, announcement, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), which stressed a need for infrastructure investment for buses too.
