Britain's EU envoy Sir Ivan Rogers quits ahead of Brexit talks

Britain's EU ambassador has unexpectedly quit, just months before formal Brexit talks are due to get under way. Sir Ivan Rogers, who was not due to leave his post until November, has announced he will step down early.
