OSMRE notifies Oklahoma of jurisdiction adjustment following McGirt vs Oklahoma decision

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has notified the Oklahoma Department of Mines and the Oklahoma Conservation Commission that the state may no longer exercise regulatory jurisdiction under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 on Indian Lands within the State.
