Twitter courts media publishers with launch of live video API

Twitter is pulling out all the stops to bring media publishers on board with the introduction of a new live vide API designed to make it easier to post live broadcasts.
The tool will enable third party’s to more closely entwine their video tools with Twitter’s own interface, linking in with Twitter’s own Periscope Producer feature to ease the complexities of producing such material.
