Snapchat still top for US teens despite Instagram's copycat moves

Snapchat is the preferred social media platform for almost 50% of US teens according to new research from investment firm Piper Jaffray. 
Despite increasing pressure from Instagram, 47% of those surveyed said Snapchat was their preferred social platform, up 39% from in the spring and a huge jump from 2015 when Snapchat was the least preferred social network.
