Snap names Jennifer Park Stout as head of global policy

Snap Inc has announced the appointment of Jennifer Park Stout as head of global policy at Snapchat ahead of a public offering for the business later in the year which could value it at upwards of $25bn.
Stout formerly served as deputy chief of staff to the US secretary of state and is already in the post according to reports. 
The appointment follows on from the arrival of ex Sony Entertainment chief executive Michael Lynton as Snapchat chairman, dovetailing with a wider push into news
