PGA Tour partners with Intel as it looks to test the waters of virtual reality broadcasting

The PGA Tour is the latest sports governing body to begin experimenting with virtual reality broadcasting after partnering with Intel.
The Tour follows the likes of the NBA and NFL in testing VR streams, however rights owners are wary of the medium and insist that the experiences must offer more than just an immersive version of regular broadcasts.
