GoPro slashes workforce by 270 amidst continuing retrenchment

Action camera and software specialist GoPro has extended a recent run of job losses with plans to lay off a further 270 people, continuing a program of severe retrenchment.
The latest job losses follow earlier rounds of cuts which saw 300 posts lost last year,  a response to a disastrous 2015.
