GlaxoSmithKline opens manufacturing 'smart space' to accelerate technology adoption

Pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has opened its first research and development facility designed to test new technology, with a focus on real time electronic data visualisation. 
The so-called 'smart space' was designed by strategic design firm PWW to demonstrate how state-of-the-art systems and technologies can be combined in a manufacturing line and environment.
