Bullish Amazon brushes aside Brexit blowback concerns

Amazon has quashed fears of a sales slide in the wake of Britain’s decision to exit the European Union after announcing that it had observed no dip in trade and was set to add a further 1,000 UK jobs.
These roles will span head office, research and customer service and come on top of a decision to take on an extra 2,500 people taken back in January.
UK manager Doug Gurr said: “Our sales are in line with expectations... It's business as usual as far as we are concerned.”
