BBC Scotland poaches STV's digital editor Matt Roper

BBC Scotland has named STV's Matt Roper as editor of mobile and online. 
Roper is currently digital editor of STV and is responsible for the channel 3 contract holder's online news, current affairs and sport output. 
According to a note sent around BBC Scotland, Roper was involved in the launch of STV's news app and was a key player in the launch of Scotland Tonight's online presence.
