Amazon tests 30-hour work week for certain teams
Amazon is reportedly to launch a pilot that will experiment with a 30-hour work week for certain teams.
The Washington Post reports that the program will cover “a few dozen” of the retailer’s human resources team, who will earn 75 per cent of what their full-time counterparts earn. Currently, the business employs part-time staff who share the same benefits as full-time workers, though the pilot program would differ in that it would be the first time an entire team works reduced
