Adelaide ‘mansplaining’ advert sparks social media derision

An Adelaide advert depicting one man holding court over five women has drawn ridicule and criticism on social media for promoting ‘mansplaining’.
The University of Adelaide bore the brunt of condemnation for the ad, which can be seen next to its logo in a photograph that has gone viral online and been picked up by the world’s media, but insisted it was not behind its creation.
It said it had neither supplied nor approved the poster and that it was in fact the work of an agency
