UNISON plans fightback against staff cuts to Sheffield Hallam students’ union

A total of 32 full-time workers – employed by the Sheffield Hallam University students’ union – have been told they could lose their jobs because of plans to close the students’ union bar, café and help desk.
The students’ union, which is funded by the university but independently run, argues a reorganisation is necessary and will reduce costs.
