Fixing the NHS staffing crisis should be the government’s priority, says UNISON

Commenting on media reports today (Tuesday) that the government is planning another NHS shake-up in the form of ‘academy-style’ hospitals, UNISON head of health Sara Gorton said:
“Another top-down reorganisation is not the start to the new year that NHS staff in England were expecting.
“Health workers may take some convincing that this isn’t just a well-timed smokescreen to distract from the ​Prime Minister’s current politic
