Willis trials panels on new tech placement platform

Willis Towers Watson North America is piloting a new electronic
placement platform across a number of recently assembled carrier
panels, The Insurance Insider can
reveal.
The Connected Broking technology initiative has been built to
allow communication between the broker and carriers in the
placement process, with submissions and quotes sent through the
platform.
It will also capture, quote and bind data from carriers, and
provide more real-time information on rates.
