Willis and Towers make final pitches for deal
Towers Watson and Willis have both released 11th hour statements
to shareholders as they attempt to get their merger deal home in
the face of opposition from the key proxy agencies.
ISS and Glass-Lewis released reports on 5 November that advised
Towers Watson to oppose the deal on its current terms - something
that is often sufficient to force the revision or collapse of
proposed deals.
