US commercial rates rise less than 1%: Clips
US commercial insurance rates rose by less than 1 percent during
the first quarter of 2016, Willis Towers Watson's latest
Commercial Lines Insurance Pricing Survey (Clips) has shown.
The result continued a three-year trend of smaller
increases.
Price changes in the first quarter for most classes of business
were generally in line with changes in the fourth quarter of last
year.
Commercial auto prices increased the most, driven by poor claims
