UK P&I and Britannia merger talks collapse

Talks about a potential merger between marine mutual protection and
indemnity (P&I) clubs UK P&I and Britannia Club have broken
down.
In a statement released today (20 June) the clubs said they
failed to reach an agreement to merge on acceptable terms, despite
recognising the potential benefits of such a move.
The mutuals first announced discussions over the mooted deal in
February this year following months of rumours in the market.
