Strong run-off results boost R&Q in H1
Legacy-to-live insurance services provider Randall and Quilter
(R&Q) has reported a pre-tax profit of £1.2mn for the six
months to 30 June 2016 in a significant turnaround from a
£4.5mn loss in H1 2015.
In addition, the group's balance sheet was boosted by
foreign exchange gains of almost £5mn as the surpluses of its
US companies are held in dollars.
