Spinnaker sets sail with A- rating

Programme and fronting start-up Spinnaker Insurance Company has
officially commenced operations after completing its capital raise
and securing an A- rating from AM Best last week (6 October).
As previously revealed by The Insurance
Insider, the venture is targeting cat-exposed US
homeowners' property programme business written for its own
book, while it will also serve as a fronting carrier for short-tail
