SIRC: Lloyd's China could have 30 syndicates in 2016

Lloyd's CEO Inga Beale has predicted that Lloyd's China
could increase its number of syndicates to 30 by the end of next
year.
Speaking to The Insurance Insider from
Lloyd's new office in Singapore, which will be having its
official opening ceremony on Wednesday (4 November), Beale said
that part of the reason for the increase in Chinese syndicates was
the forthcoming China Risk Oriented Solvency System (C-Ross), which
is due to come into force in the new year.
