S&P and Fitch cut UK credit rating
Standard & Poor's (S&P) and Fitch have followed
Moody's in downgrading the UK's credit rating in the
aftermath of its Brexit vote.
S&P slashed the UK's top AAA rating by two notches to AA
with a negative outlook as it highlighted continued
uncertainty.
The agency described the vote to leave the EU as a "seminal
event" which will lead to a "less predictable, stable,
and effective policy framework in the UK".
