RMS: 'Significant' economic damage from Ecuador quake
A major magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Ecuador's central
coast on Saturday (17 April), killing 413 people so far, is likely
to result in more economic damage than originally thought.
"As well as the fatalities and the impact on people's
lives there is likely to be significant economic damage in
Ecuador," Dr Robert Muir-Wood, chief research officer at
