RLI offers new excess cyber cover

US specialty insurer RLI has launched a new cyber liability cover
through its executive products group.
The policy offers first and third party coverage options to
protect medium-to-large sized firms against financial losses and
damages from cyber attacks and data breaches.
The coverage will initially be offered on an excess basis, with
the carrier set to launch a primary cyber liability policy soon, it
said in a statement.
