Reinsurance 'extremely efficient form of capital': JLT CEO

Reinsurance is an "extremely efficient form of capital"
at current pricing levels, according to Dominic Burke, CEO of
broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT).
Speaking during a 1 March earnings call, Burke said there were
signs demand for reinsurance from cedants was increasing, and JLT
has seen a substantial number of large carriers significantly
strengthen reserves on long-tail lines of business.
