Pimco lawsuit against AIG to proceed

A lawsuit brought by fund manager Pimco which accuses American
International Group (AIG) of lying about its subprime mortgage
exposure will continue after a California judge rejected the
carrier's protests yesterday (1 June).
The case will move to a federal court after Judge Thierry
Patrick Colaw of the Orange County Superior Court rejected
AIG's argument that Pimco waited too long to sue over the
allegations, Reuters reported.
