Philipps named executive officer of Mitsui international ops

Mitsui Sumitomo has appointed MS Amlin CEO Charles Philipps as
one of three new executive officers at its international business,
it announced yesterday (1 March).
Hideyuki Tanaka, general manager of the international business,
and Shinichi Imayoshi, director of MSIG Holdings Europe, have also
been appointed as executive officers of the group's
international operations, of which MS Amlin is a part.
Philipps will become the second ever non-Japanese executive
officer at Mitsui following the move.
