Obama signs Tria into law

President Obama yesterday (12 January) signed a six-year renewal of
the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (Tria), ending the period of
uncertainty over terrorism coverage triggered by the
programme's lapse.
Last week (8 January), the Senate passed the bill by a vote of
93 to four, following near unanimous passage by the House of
Representatives.
Under the extension, the programme's trigger will be
increased in phases starting in 2016 from $100mn to $200mn of
annual aggregate insured losses, w
