Munich Re restructures Asia Pacific business

Reinsurance giant Munich Re is to restructure its Asia Pacific
business, including by expanding its Tokyo, Singapore and Beijing
offices.
In an announcement yesterday, the global reinsurer said its
regional centre in Singapore would serve clients from southeast
Asia and support the carrier's reinsurance activities in India,
Japan and Korea.
Staff numbers in Singapore would increase to cover the regional
centre's new roles.
