Moore to head LSM as Metcalf retires

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has installed Matthew Moore as
president and managing director, replacing the retiring Nick
Metcalf as head of the business.
Moore, who has been groomed to take on the role for years, is
taking over from Metcalf with immediate effect.
The executive became chief underwriting officer (CUO) of
Lloyd's platform Liberty Syndicates in 2009 and took the group
CUO role at LSM in 2014 after parent Liberty Mutual created the
operation through an internal merger.
