Matthew looks set to hit Florida at Cat 4

(Re)insurers are preparing for the possibility of major losses
after the National Hurricane Center (NHC) declared that Hurricane
Matthew was expected to strengthen to a Category 4 storm as it
headed towards the west coast of Florida.
The latest data from the firm, released as of 08:00 EDT,
suggested tropical storm conditions were expected on the eastern
coast of Florida within hours.
Full hurricane conditions are expected to hit the county later
