Lockton begins wholesale broker clampdown

Lockton has sent a strong message to its producers in an attempt to
steer them away from using wholesalers such as JLT that are also
competing with the US-based broker on retail business.
In a company memo, chairman David Lockton and president and CEO
John Lumelleau called on the broker's producers to "look
first to our fellow global associates for market access before
considering alternatives with known or potential competitors around
