Lloyd's to support China Taiping entry

Lloyd's and Hong Kong-listed carrier China Taiping have
signed an agreement that will see the Corporation support Taiping
Reinsurance Company to become a member of Lloyd's, as well as
to establish a syndicate and a registered broker within the London
market.
Under the memorandum of understanding signed today (21 October),
China Taiping will support Lloyd's in developing and expanding
its business with Chinese interests. Both sides will also commit to
