Kleiner to lead Munich Re's American Modern

Munich Re's US primary carrier American Modern has appointed
Andreas Kleiner as its new CEO after Manny Rios left the insurer in
August last year.
The news comes as American Modern looks to realign its business
following last month's exit from the lender-placed insurance
(LPI) market.
Kleiner joins from Ergo Group - another subsidiary of the German
reinsurance giant - where he has served as a member of the board
since 2007.
