JLT Re expands into US mortgage business

JLT Re has launched JLT Re Global Mortgage Solutions, a North
American mortgage (re)insurance business.
The new venture will provide (re)insurance structures to help
government-sponsored entities (GSEs), domestic mortgage insurers,
mortgage lenders and house builders manage their mortgage risk, the
firm announced yesterday (5 May).
Steve Rance has been appointed executive vice president of this
new offering, which is part of JLT Re's North American
operation.
