Insurers can 'break free' from market challenges: Willis

Difficult insurance market conditions are no excuse for poor
performance from UK carriers, according to a Willis Towers Watson
study released today.
An analysis of financial returns from Prudential Regulation
Authority-registered insurers showed that those operating in
similar classes of business had delivered markedly different return
levels over the last five years.
At an aggregate market level, the analysis shows that the UK
non-life insurance industry had performed relatively well in the
pre
