Icahn threatens to push for removal of AIG CEO

Activist investor Carl Icahn has said that he will hold a
consent solicitation for American International Group (AIG)
shareholders, giving them the opportunity to support his plan to
break up the company.
In a statement released today (23 November), Icahn said that
with CEO Peter Hancock unwilling to take the "bold steps"
necessary to unlock value, he was considering a move to parachute
in a director who could replace him.
