Hiscox to sell DirectAsia Hong Kong division

International specialty insurer Hiscox is to sell the Hong Kong
division of its DirectAsia business to local group Well Link Group
Holdings Ltd, the company announced today (10 March).
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.
The Hong Kong division of DirectAsia was founded in 2012. The
company employs 40 people and produced $8mn of gross written
premiums in 2015.
