Hiscox pegs Harvey impact at $150mn

Hiscox is expecting net claims of around $150mn from Hurricane
Harvey, based on an industry loss estimate of $25bn, it announced
this morning.
The industry loss estimate does not include losses from the
state-backed US National Flood Insurance Program.
Hiscox said it was principally exposed through reinsurance
business and through insurance lines, including flood cover for
homeowners and businesses.
