Generali sells Dutch operations

Italian insurer Generali has agreed to sell its Dutch operations
to ASR Nederland for EUR143mn ($170mn).
The disposal is part of a plan announced in November for
Generali to exit 13 to 15 markets. It follows a $172mn agreement
last month for the sale of itsPanamanian business to Spanish insurer ASSA Compañía
de Seguros and a EUR30mn deal with Talanx in July for itsColombian operations .
