Gard the P&I insurer for Norman Atlantic ferry

The protection and indemnity (P&I) coverage for the Norman
Atlantic Italian ferry currently ablaze and adrift in the Adriatic
Sea is provided by Gard.
The car ferry was carrying 478 people on board when a fire broke
out in the car deck yesterday morning (28 December).
Greek officials have said that 316 of those passengers have been
rescued, leaving 162 people still on board the burning ship.
