Gard appoints London managing director

Norwegian marine protection and indemnity (P&I) club Gard has
appointed Thomas Nordberg as managing director of its London
office, the company announced today (22 April).
He replaces André Kroneberg, who has moved to become the
club's chief underwriting officer in Asia.
Nordberg has served in a variety of roles at Gard since joining
in 1997, most recently as vice president of underwriting management
at its headquarters in Arendal, Norway. Prior to this he was the
